Who I am
I manage a freight forwarding division and work hands-on every day. European routes, mostly Poland-Germany, Poland-Italy, Poland-France. Over 11 years I've processed thousands of shipments - from single pallets to oversized full loads.
I know what daily forwarding work looks like from the inside. Emails, CMR documents, claims, rate negotiations. And I know how much time goes into calculating loading meters manually or in Excel.
Why CalCargo
CalCargo was born from a practical need. Forwarders in my company wasted time calculating LDM, checking how many pallets fit on a trailer, comparing vehicles. Existing online calculators were either too simple or required registration.
I built a tool that does one thing well - calculates loading meters in 5 seconds. No signup, no cost, in 4 languages. Because freight forwarding is international business and a calculator should work just as well in English as in German or Italian.
